1029- A Woodlands Retreat

Grandkids Outing

by Doug 2026-08-24

5/5

We had a wonderful time at the resort, beautiful, peaceful cabin with everything we needed for our large group including five grandchildren who thoroughly enjoyed their time at the pool and other local attractions.

Woodlands Retreat

by Elizabeth 2026-08-24

The property was above my expectation. My five year old granddaughter actually said "I've always wanted to live in the woods!" It was very spacious, and included a large screened in porch. We used the resort pool every day, the kids loved it.

Excellent

by Darcy 2025-10-13

This house was great! We also had the house next door. We had 16 people between the 2 houses. We enjoyed the secluded area. We felt we were in the country yet had easy access to all the fun excursions at the dells.

Girls trip

by Sharon 2025-09-18

Love staying at this home at Springbrook resort. We especially enjoyed the screened porch where we sat every morning drinking our coffee and again every evening. The house was extremely clean the beds relatively comfortable. Couldn't fast for more. We probably will return.

by Raphael 2025-08-06

The house had everything we needed and the screened in porch was beautiful.

by Mary 2025-07-29

Everything about the house is great, especially the sun room!!

Girls Weekend

by Roberta 2025-07-23

Perfect place for our girls weekend. Had everything you need (except a lighter or matches for the fire). The screened porch in the back was a great place for morning coffee, evening drinks, and lots of laughs. Highly recommend!

4/5

The house was just right for our group of kids and adults. We enjoyed the pools too!

by Carol 2025-01-13

We enjoyed our stay! The cabin is clean and decorated very nicely. They had the cabin decorated for Christmas with two small trees and various Christmas decorations, including outside lights. It made our stay very festive. Plenty of room for family members to spread out. The indoor pool and hot tub at the clubhouse were enjoyed by the entire family. Plenty of dishes and pans to cook. We cooked the entire time we were there. I highly recommend this cabin for large families.

by Mary 2024-08-11

Everything about our stay was wonderful! The house was clean, and had a great supply of games. The record player was a big hit! The sun room was a favorite place to relax for everyone. The staff is friendly, courteous, and professional. Every question I had or request I made was answered quickly from the day I called to make the reservation until the day we left. We will definitely be back next year!!

Great Accomodations

by Elisa 2024-07-31

We were very comfortable here during our stay. The home was well-apportioned and easy to navigate. When we had trouble with a TV, we got timely and kind service from Spring Brook associates. Thanks for the great venue for our family vacation.

Perfect getaway with friends!

by Stacy 2024-06-19

We recently spent a few days at the home - the layout was perfect for us and we enjoyed sitting in the screened porch and listening to the birds during morning coffee. While our vacation was meant for relaxing and catching up, we loved being so close to the Dells activities. Great food and ambiance at the sports pub and convenience of being a short walk away. Look forward to staying with Spring Brook rentals again!

Great place to stay

by Beth 2023-10-04

Me and my group had everything we needed (provided by our house) to have a great weekend!

Family Vacation

by Denise 2023-06-14

House was GREAT & very clean. Had an awesome screened in porch, deck with large grill & fire pit that we enjoyed immensely! This place fit our needs to a "T" with plenty of room for our 5 Adults & 2 Children. Very private location yet able to use resort facilities (pool, golf course,bar/restaurant) just a short walk away. Close to Wisconsin Dells activities yet not in the heart of the chaos! Definitely would give it an A+ rating!

Very nice

by Richelle 2023-03-15

The house was great, plenty of room for all our guests and large kitchen for us to cook in. The bar/restaurant was very nice as well, we had drinks and dinner there. Staff is great at the office and restaurant as well. They were able to accommodate our request for a late checkout, which was awesome!

by Hattie 2022-12-29

Very nice place!!

Great Weekend Getaway

by Jaclynn 2022-10-26

My girlfriends and I stayed at the woodlands retreat for a mama vacation/college reunion. We could not have selected a better place. We each had our own clean comfy room, plenty of space to spread out, a beautiful well equipped kitchen to cook in, and a fantastic three seasons room to relax in. The check in and out process was quick and easy. We were completely satisfied with our stay and hope to be back next year. I highly recommend Woodlands retreat for a girlfriend getaways, family gatherings, etc.

by Brenda 2022-09-14

We had an excellent experience at our home. This is the second time me and my husband have stayed there and we will be back. The home has so much room and a little something for everyone in our group.

Beautiful home!

by Jeanne 2022-08-22

A Woodlands Retreat is a beautiful home! The screened in porch is a great place to hangout. The fire pit area is wonderful. Our grandkids enjoyed the wii so much. It was a nice bonus. The home is close enough to the pool so the older kids could just bike there. We have been coming to Springbrook for many years but this was our first time in this home. We loved it! Thanks Springbrook for another wonderful vacation. See you next summer!

We LOVED woodlands retreat!

by Caitlyn 2022-08-03

This was our first time at spring-brook and it was amazing! It gives perfect up north vibes with a short drive to downtown dells/waterparks. We celebrated a bachelorette and it comfortably slept the 8 of us. It was clean and had everything we needed. One of our favorite parts was the screened in patio. That was a perfect hangout for games. Would recommend and visit again. Thanks for the special weekend!

House rental

by Jodi 2022-04-09

The house was very well stocked, very clean and super comfortable for all five of us. It was a perfect stay.

Spacious place for family

by Summer 2022-02-23

We decided to stay here for a last minute ski trip, we had two different families and felt very comfortable in the home. There are plenty of games and activities to keep the kids and even the adults busy. The two living rooms makes this place so spacious for a group. The kitchen had the pots and pans we needed for all of our cooking, just make sure to bring your own spices. The place was so much nicer than we expected and will be staying again!

Time with Family

by John 2022-01-01

The home was clean and very well taken care of. Not far from the indoor and outdoor pools.

Great Place, Nice Location, Open Floor Plan

by Ali S 2021-12-29

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. The cabin had all the amenities. It was clean, had plenty of utensils, towels, etc. for 8 people. Very clean. Everything was ready to go when we arrived. I visited the office once or twice and the staff was very friendly. Nice little touches also -- kids loved the TVs in every room, fire pit in the back yard, having a fireplace, little curios and things that made it feel like a cabin, etc. Thank you.

Wonderful Stay!

by Sheila 2021-08-18

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at A Woodlands Retreat! The house was impeccably clean, spacious yet really cozy, and it was so well-stocked. The screened in porch was an added bonus for us and though our weekend was a bit rainy, we were able to enjoy the fire pit on one of the nights! I was totally impressed as well by the prompt attention of the Spring Brook management to an issue we had with the grill propane gas tank. Was very appreciated! All in all, drove home with great memories and we'll be back!

Great time!

by Nicole 2021-03-25

We loved the house and it was so well equipped. Great stay!

Great stay

by N 2021-02-03

The place is very clean, nice location, has everything you would need. Very nicely spent time! Absolutely recommend!!!

by Rob 2021-01-25

This unit is well maintained, spacious enough for 8 with 4 bedrooms. Love the cul-de-sac location and just a short 2 minute drive to the clubhouse. The owners have provided their personal touch that is warm and inviting. I highly recommend this unit and certainly look to stay here again.

Thanksgiving fun!

by Susan 2020-12-01

We had a great time celebrating Thanksgiving! The cabin was great for what we needed it for.

Great Home

by Sandra 2020-10-09

It was a large, clean, nicely decorated rental. I wish we could have been there longer than one night. It would have been nice to be there in the summer and enjoy the large screened porch and deck.

by Joey 2020-10-07

The stay at Spring-Brook Woodland Retreat-1029 was awesome. I wood definitely return and recommend the resort. Thank you so much

WOODLANDS RETREAT

by Paul 2019-12-03

This is our first time staying at Spring Brook. All I can say is everything was great from making the registration to checking out. The staff were very accommodating and helpful. They were pleasant and appeared to know their job duties. All should be commended. The rental itself was great and met our needs. The home was clean and had everything we needed. The beds and furniture was comfortable. IF we had any issue it was with regulating the heat. However, after one day we had that figured out. The home itself was well located to things in the Dells. Particularly Wal-Mart and Kohls; as it was Black Friday. We look forward to staying again, as this is an annual event for our family. For the last 30+ years we have come to the Dells staying in one of the large resorts. However, this was by far the best place we have stayed. The privacy and quietness was great.

by Nancy 2019-10-07

My son's family enjoyed their stay. Couldn't ask for anything nicer.

by Nancy 2019-10-02

Everyone was extremely pleased with the house. Everything we needed was there and many said we should come here again.

WI Dells Get Away

by Nancy 2019-09-25

We had a great time staying at A Woodlands Retreat. It had everything we needed, just wished the weather was a little nicer and that we could have stayed longer.

A great time!

by Ralph & Vaughn 2019-09-19

We loved the property. The house was very clean and comfortable. The screen porch is a great bonus. Looking forward to coming back!

Couples Retreat in Dells

by Carolyn 2019-09-14

We loved this home. The four seasons room was a beautiful feature. House was very clean. My family had a great time!

Recent Stay

by Bob and Karen 2019-09-03

Well kept. Perfect family retreat. Can tell the owners take pride in their home and want others to enjoy it as well!

Great family gathering!

by Sarah 2019-06-16

My family came up from Tennessee to spend time with my husbands family. His parents, siblings, and niece are all from different parts of Wisconsin and met us there. We had 3 kids under 5 and it was a perfect place for the event. Lots of room for play in the house, yard, and pool areas. It was a safe location to let the kids play! Highly recommend.

80's at Heart Reunion

by Debbie 2019-05-01

Great place for a weekend to reunite with high school friends. House décor was well done and adorable. Perfect place to hang out and enjoy good conversation and a walk down memory lane. House exceeded expectations and would definitely rent again! Fabulous screened porch and plenty of room to get comfortable!

Great Layout

by Andy and Kara 2019-02-26

We had eight people for a family get-together. It's a great layout with plenty of room, things to do, and well stocked.

Thanks for the feedback!

Super cozy and family friendly

by Brian and Mary 2019-01-29

Great getaway spot for all seasons. Warm, cozy and cared for home. You won't be disappointed!

Loved our stay! Beautiful place!

by Erin and Rob 2019-01-11

We had such a great stay at A Woodlands Retreat! The house is spacious and decorated nicely. It was a cold weekend, and they have plenty of board games that we played with the fireplace on. We liked that is was tucked back a little in the woods making it cozy and private but easy to get to the indoor/outdoor pool and clubhouse. All the bedrooms have queen size beds, and the master has a king. We appreciated that they had a big kitchen fully stocked with any type of cookware you needed as well as common ingredients like spices, oils, sugar, etc. Overall would highly recommend. We will definitely be coming back to this place!

Spacious, clean, relaxing and perfect

by Jenny And Rick 2018-12-28

This 4 bedroom house was perfect for our family of 8 to stay. We loved how clean and well stocked the house was. Very spacious, TV's in every room, and the screened in porch was awesome! Close enough to the clubhouse, pool and golf course but far enough away to give us privacy and the feel of a nice cabin in the woods. We would highly recommend to any group and we look forward to staying here again!

Well located

by John 2018-08-19

The facility was centrally located to all attractions at Wisconsin Dells. It was very clean and nicely appointed and the staff was very accommodating. The indoor outdoor pools at the lodge were great for the kids. The place was low on toilet paper but they brought it when we asked. It had no condiments like coffee filters, oil for cooking, salt and pepper, sugar and spices. The Facility had no shampoo or conditioner. We would stay again however we would bring with us the missing condiments.

Great Famliy Times

by Partrica 2018-08-17

The Woodlands Retreat met all of our needs as a family for our week long stay. The close proximity to the pool and service area was great. Teenagers were able to walk to the pool when they wanted. We rented the 6 seater bicycle and it was an adventure and workout! We would definitely recommend Spring Brook and The Woodlands Retreat to others.

"We sat on the screened in porch most of the time."

by Dan & Pat 2018-07-17

We had a very enjoyable week. We selected a ranch, no stairs. Great for Dan & I with bad knees. We sat on the screened in porch most of the time; reading, playing games, listening to music. We went to the pools about every day. We would recommend it to anyone.
