Fireworks in Downtown Wisconsin Dells

This includes our 4th of July fun that takes place on the holiday itself starting at 2:00 PM. You will find tons of activities that are sure to bring a smile to everyone’s face. This year’s festivities will take place once again at Elm Street Plaza right here in Downtown Wisconsin Dells. As you step inside the event, you will find there is a lot going on to keep you entertained. Live entertainment will be provided by Back2Back and The Swing Crew throughout the event. A concession stand will also be open to make sure everyone does not go hungry. The kids will have an absolute blast in the kids’ area, where they can find balloon twisters, caricature drawings, and face painting. Outdoor yard games will be available for the whole family too.
Of course, you came here for the fireworks, and the Downtown Wisconsin Dells fireworks display will not disappoint. The fireworks will shoot off just after dusk from the municipal building found at 300 LaCrosse Street. With the event taking place so close to the building this will be a prime spot for viewing. The fireworks show is expected to be up to half an hour long giving you plenty of excitement across the night sky. Along the River
If you prefer to avoid the busy area of Elm Street Plaza you can always head on over to any public access to the river. Elm Street Plaza is located in downtown Wisconsin Dells right by the river so the views will be easy to find. One of the best spots as reported by locals here by the river is near the River Dam. This spot offers a great vantage point for your family to catch the fireworks from Downtown Wisconsin Dells. Visitors will find Mexicali Rose located right here by the dam that is a traditional Mexican cuisine restaurant.
Your family can enjoy a patio table that lets you unwind with some tasty food as you take in the fireworks. Their menu includes local favorites such as their fajitas and other Mexican platters. The adults can sip on their margaritas that are also local favorites. The large patio makes it easier to find a table at sundown. Keep in mind that the 4th of July is a popular evening here in Downtown Wisconsin Dells, so you will still want to plan on getting your table earlier in the evening before the fireworks celebration kicks off.
