Take a Hike at Devil’s Lake State Park
While the spring season starts out cold it warms up over the months to lovely low 70s by the time May comes around. The spring season is the perfect time to enjoy some outdoor hiking around the many parks and trails in the region. Wisconsin Dells is home to Devil’s Lake State Park that is a short drive away from many of our vacation rentals. The park features over 29 miles of hiking trails, each with various distances and difficulties. Perhaps the most popular trails here at Devil’s Lake State Park is the West Bluff Trail that is a moderate 4.8-mile hike. This trek will take around 2.5 hours for most hikers and rewards you with incredible views of the lake. This loop will take you past rocky climbs and lead you to a beautiful beach that is perfect for an outdoor picnic. For those wanting a little extra challenge and navigate the incredible rock formations head over to the Devil’s Doorway Loop for a difficult trail. Don’t forget to track down the Balanced Rock that is a must see part of the trails.
