Perhaps our biggest Easter event is our annual Downtown Egg-Stravaganza Hunt. This Easter related event is perfect for kids of all ages and will take place right here in Downtown Wisconsin Dells. Instead of a traditional Easter egg hunt, the Downtown Egg-Stravaganza Hunt has local businesses hiding a ‘Peter Rabbit’ stuffed animal in their shops.
When you tell a shop employee that you found it, they will give you a stamp on a form you can get from Wisconsin Dells Visitor & Convention Bureau. You will also pick up a free map there too that will show you what businesses will be participating in this event. Turn in you stamp form once it has been filled out to claim an Easter related prize. This is a great opportunity to check out local shops here in Downtown Wisconsin Dells while having a little fun with the family. The Annual Downtown Egg-Stravaganza Hunt will take place on Saturday April 5th from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Downtown Wisconsin Dells Spring Wine Walk
While the Downtown Egg-Stravaganza Hunt is an event geared for children, you will find something perfect for the adults with the Downtown Wisconsin Dells Spring Wine Walk. The local Wine Walk takes place twice a year, one in spring and the other in the fall. This event will see local downtown establishments turn into wine tasting destinations. Some of your favorite restaurants and bars in Downtown Wisconsin Dells will be participating handing out pairings of red and white wines along with tasty hors d’oeuvres.
Each pairing is meant to bring out the flavors of both the food and wine so a tasty experience. Participants will pick up their tasting glass from Elm Street Plaza and proceed to participating restaurants, shops, and bars for their wine and food pairings. This is another great way to check out and support local businesses right here in Downtown Wisconsin Dells. This event is for ages 21 and over only with IDs required upon receiving your wristband. The event will take place on April 12th from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM right here in Downtown Wisconsin Dells.
Signature Springtime Sips
While the Downtown Wisconsin Dells Spring Wine Walk is designed for wine and food lovers you will also find something for the craft beer lovers too. At the end of April, you can take part in the Dells on Tape presents: Signature Spring Time Sips. There is a vibrant craft beer scene here in Wisconsin Dells with local breweries and taprooms that are worthy to check out. Signature Springtime Sips is a great way to try out many of the local beers in a fun event. This will be the first ever Signature Springtime Sips, allowing you to participate in a brand new tradition here in the area. Participating breweries will be providing the exceptional ales that include a variety of styles including IPAs, lagers, stouts, and much more.
Instead of having local businesses host the event, it will all take place over at Elm Street Plaza. The breweries will have different stations to stop by where you can chat it up with the people who make the beer. Mouthwatering bites will also be on hand to pair excellently with each sip of the beer. The atmosphere will be laid back with live music throughout the event. You can also enjoy a little friendly competition with corn hole or simply kick back and soak up the sun. Raise a glass and toast to a brand new tradition with Signature Springtime Sips taking place on Saturday April 26th from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Tickets are still available for this event that includes a tasting mug.
